Crypto Finance Forum

Visual identity + web + event design

The Crypto Finance Forum, organised by Cryptio and held in New York in 2023 and 2024, is a premier industry event uniting leaders from finance, crypto, and regulatory sectors to explore trends, regulations, and innovations in digital assets.

For this project, I developed the event’s logo, visual identity, website, motion graphics, social media graphics and all printed materials.

The brief

For the inaugural 2023 edition, as Lead Designer at Cryptio, I was brought on to create the entire visual identity from the ground up. The goal was to craft a brand that could bridge the aesthetics of traditional finance with the forward-thinking energy of the crypto world, establishing a professional, modern and memorable design system for both digital and physical platforms.

The solution

Inspired by blockchains, I developed a bold, geometric visual identity centerred around a modular “CF” mark, symbolising structure, innovation and interconnected systems. The design balanced sharp modernism with corporate clarity, helping position the event as both credible and cutting-edge. The color palette introduced fresh, vibrant tones and contrasting black, chosen to convey energy, optimism and authority across both screen and print applications.

To anchor the brand in its New York location, I designed and animated a custom isometric illustration featuring iconic NYC or London buildings, depending on the location of the evnet. This became the hero visual on the website and across motion graphics, providing a strong sense of place while enhancing the tech-forward theme.

Everything was created from scratch, including:

  • Logo and identity system

  • Event website design

  • Hero animation NYC and London buildings in isometric style

  • Motion graphics and video edition

  • Social media graphics

  • Printed event materials (badges, signage, agendas)

For the London edition of the event, I inverted the black and white colours to maintain brand consistency while clearly distinguishing it as a different city, creating a simple but effective visual cue that complements the modular system.
