The Brief
Taking characters from classic British literature, I was tasked with creating illustrations that portrayed the sexual behaviour of six famous characters, according to the analysis of Dr. Kate Lister, a literary historian. The final illustrations needed to be suitable for consumer lifestyle magazines and publications.
The Solution
Inspired by Dr. Kate Lister’s research, I developed illustrations of Beck Sharp, Mr. Rochester, Sherlock Holmes, Elizabeth Bennet, Cathy Earnshaw and Othello. The final illustrations made appearance on Oh Comely magazine and was published on Lelo’s blog, website and social media platforms.
